how cool were these

70s and early 80s stuff is cool.check out some of this from my personal collection.the one viewfinder has "chips"tv series loaded and the other has "star wars".the "look in" album is a repro from poundland,the projector has "war of the worlds"in black and white cine,a condensed and captioned 7 minute version which is still in great condition.there is also my old 80s national panasonic music centre fully restored and in working order.

an all time classic.crap monsters and special effects and the great doug mclure.i wonder if they found the script while they were there.

this is omo washing powder.apparantly all the women who were having an affair during the war used to put it in the window to stand for "old man out".i bet there was a few leg overs there.as i have found out you can still buy omo in the eu.i think they have changed the colour though.

dr who phone box

this is the dr who phonebox in newport,south wales,uk.this was one of four boxes,the others now demolished the last one being in the 90s.as you can see from this particular view,the telegraph poles and the old bt phonebox set this historic monument off in the particular style that you would imagine from your local county council,and i would imagine that many hours were spent planning and milling around as possible as to spoil any chance of getting a half descent shot of what really is quite a work of art.i think that you will agree that they have surpassed themselves entirely.i wonder what would happen if you rang it?perhaps thats what the guy on the phone is doing.

my local and the only one of two sam smiths pubs in wales,and the oldest and best in newport.this is in a particularly good part of town(high st)as you have the railway station just around the corner and your only an arse over tit away from four kebab shops if you find yourself in the mood.many a good night had by all in the ports fave with a top pint and generally great totty..........lager from £2.10 a pint,food till 3pm.closes 11pm.send me pics please to my google address.

johns cafe barry island

johns cafe at barry island.this was my first stop for fish and chips,and we had the pleasure of being able to sit outside as it was a nice day for a change.reasonably priced (under £4) with a cup of tea being extra on top. it certainly beats the cafe i went to on london bridge when i was visiting the london dungeon a couple of years ago,it was appalling.johns turned out pretty good,but i dont suppose you can do a lot wrong with fish and chips can you?.famous last words.

chippy inside barry island fairground

as you can see this isnt exactly the south wales version of the ivy.seen in barry island (our top resort apparantly)it seems that its a cheap night out at the local chippy.im going to pay this a visit shortly to get you an update on this place,maybe even a review if your lucky.i used to like a saveloy and chips as well.looks like they havent discovered kebabs yet though......
